J.Crew Sleeveless Shirtdress
I picked up this sleeveless shirtdress to wear to the event, it also comes in white and a light orange. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it and with the blue and white stripes, I know I’ll get a LOT of wear out of this dress at summer BBQs, al fresco dinners, and everything in between. And since it’s cotton and breezy, it’s practically made for DC’s beyond humid summer!
Oh, and the best part: IT HAS POCKETS!!!

My Favorite J.Crew Pieces for Summer
The first thing going into my shopping bag on Saturday is this linen shirt. I tried it on when I was in the store the other week and this shirt feels like heaven. Pretty sure I need it in white, French blue, and pink! It looks just as cute tucked into a pencil skirt for work as it does half tucked into a pair of shorts. Which brings me to the next item I’m grabbing…
These linen shorts feel like pajamas and I may live in them on the weekends this summer. And, they also come in stripes!!
I’ve been exploring jumpsuits more and more and this white jumpsuit just looks so chic! I love the idea of pairing this white jumpsuit with a hot pink blazer for work. Definitely out of my usual workwear comfort zone but I’m digging it…what do you think?
Lastly, I wanted to make sure you saw this midi eyelet skirt. I purchased a similar skirt from J.Crew back in 2016 (!!) that’s still one of my favorite summer pieces. It’s so versatile and can be worn for brunch with your girlfriends by casually knotting a linen button down with it or paired with a sleeveless shell. You won’t want to miss out on it!!
