Blazer: L.L. Bean Signature Jacquard Blazer (Sadly it’s sold out but L.L. Bean has a similar collarless blazer in blackwatch – it’d be cute to dress it up for a holiday office party with a sparkly statement necklace like this one!) // Dress: Macy’s Sheath Dress (This dress is incredibly comfortable and figure-flattering. Not to mention it’s $66 plus an extra 15% off. I also picked it up in black and burgundy) // Bag: Vera Bradley Satchel (Last styled for work here. And here in New Orleans – it was the best purse for being a tourist around the city!) // Necklace: J.Crew Factory Multistrand
Happy Wednesday/fake Thursday! Short weeks always seem especially crazy since we’re all trying to pack a 5 day work week into 4. Whenever I’m writing out my to-do list for the coming week, I always have a column of “Things To Think About.” These aren’t immediate action items but just tasks that pop into my head that I need to tackle eventually or need to brainstorm further. And it hit me that Thanksgiving is merely 2 weeks away!! And then Christmas and 2018 started to loom large on my calendar. It’s madness, I tell you. So let’s procastinate for just a little bit on that to-do list, grab your caffeine (chai for me) and let’s talk clothes.
Sheath Dress
Give credit where it’s due, my mom found this $56 sheath dress for me. I love it because it’s comfortable, figure-flattering and pretty much near wrinkle-resistant! I wore it right out of the box, which is ideal because ironing is probably my least favorite chore. This dress is marked down to $66 and an extra 15% off with code SAVEBIG plus free shipping. I liked this dress so much I picked it up in black and burgundy, I wore the outfit in today’s post on Friday and the burgundy one on Monday with my camel blazer. It was effortless to throw on on Monday, which was key since I was struggling with the time change.
Jacquard Blazer
Guys, I am really bummed my L.L. Bean jacquard blazer sold out before I could share it with you. It’s been in frequent rotation for my Monday – Friday outfits, most of my work blazers are your standard blazers so I love that this one is collarless. L.L. Bean Signature does have a similar collarless blazer in blackwatch plaid. And like we chatted about on Monday, tis the season for plaid! L.L. Bean’s blackwatch plaid blazer would be really cute for a holiday office party, I’d dress it up with a sparkly statement necklace – like this one at Baublebar I have my eye on for the holiday season.
