My Favorite Dress for Summer + Fourth of July Sales to Shop

Happy Monday!! This weekend went by in a blur. On Saturday, my friends and I braved the intense rainstorm to celebrate a friend’s birthday at Cantina Marina. Corona-ritas and, in my case, frozen mango margaritas were key to storm survival. On Sunday, my mom and I went to Tammy’s to get our customary mani-pedis. We always go to Tammy’s when she comes to town. And good news! Tammy’s Tuesday $40 regular mani/pedi special is now 7 days a week!! If you live on the Hill or Eastern Market, I highly recommend Tammy’s. Their manicures last me weeks.

Dressing for the DC humidity can seem downright impossible. Every morning I look in my closet and think, “What can I wear that will keep me cool? And what can I wear that won’t show the world just how much I’m ~~sweating~~ aggressively glistening?” It was a tough task until last summer when I discovered the best dress for beating the humidity.
