Happy {Thirsty Thursday}! Can you believe how quickly the week went by? I feel like I blinked and Monday turned into Thursday! It’s great because it means the weekend is almost here but also means Graduation Day is fast approaching. Yikes! When I was thinking of cocktails to write about in today’s post, I thought of the Bourbon Slush immediately. I double checked my posts since this is one of my favorite drinks and was pretty positive I had already highlighted this drink.
Alas, I was wrong so ladies & gentlemen, I give you the Bourbon Slush!
Ingredients
1 6 oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 12 oz. can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 46 fluid oz. can pineapple juice
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 cups strong brewed black tea
2 cups bourbon whiskey
2 liters of Fresca
Preparation
In a large bowl, mix together the orange juice & lemonade concentrates, pineapple juice, sugar, tea and bourbon whiskey. Freeze mixture overnight.
Remove from the freezer and let stand for 10 minutes.
Using a whisk, chop the mixture to give it a slushy consistency.
Place the slush into glasses & top off with Fresca.
Enjoy!!
