TGIF. As we count down the hours until the weekend, I start to think about everything I want to do over the weekend. I inevitably end up making a list to make sure I make the two days count. The temperatures in DC are starting to drop (read: mid 60s) and I am ready to dive headfirst into fall!
Try your hand at making cider doughnuts in your kitchen this weekend. Although no judgement here if you decide to simply head to your local doughnut shop. I might be there, too.
Add touches of fall around your home. A foliage wreath on the door, a fall-themed welcome mat, warm colored gems to your votives. I love the idea of having a little pumpkin as a statement piece to style your nightstand for fall! Instantly gives your decor a rich rustic vibe.
While plaid is generally acknowledged as the neutral of fall, I’m really leaning towards leopard print these days. Generally I designate this print purely for accessories like ballet flats and bracelets. And I usually pair it with an all neutral ensemble. But the gold + leopard pairing has more than piqued my interest so I might have to play some dress up this weekend. I’ll keep you posted!
