I’ve had champagne on the brain lately. To me, champagne is the ultimate optimist. Champagne means celebration, happiness, good things happening. So when I found myself in the bubbly section at the grocery store, I decided to just go with it and bought a bottle. I’m not sure if I’ll be celebrating a big celebration or a tiny victory with this bottle but at least I know I’ll be prepared when the moment arrives.
For everyday triumphs, I’d recommend going with Trader Joe’s Blanc de Blancs. At $4.99 per bottle, it fits nicely into the budget but still does the trick. It also works rather well with mimosas for the weekend. Trust me.
