Lately when I go out for drinks after work, I find myself gravitating towards the wine selection. And when I’m at Trader Joe’s, I’m always tempted to grab a bottle purely based on how much I like their labels. Go ahead and judge but I’m at that stage in life where all wine tastes the same to me so I’m not going to splurge on a bottle that has “pear overtones” and “raspberry on the mid-palate.” Because I honestly won’t be able to tell the difference. Let’s be real here.

For those of you with similar (unrefined) wine palates, Trader Joe’s is heaven when it comes to affordable wine. I generally stick to whites but I am trying my best to branch out into reds. My compromise? Rose wine.
I love Espiral Rose because it’s affordable (around $6 for a bottle) and it tastes delicious. Bring it to a girls’ night in or even just sip it as you catch up on your latest Netflix binge. I’m personally working my way through Parks & Rec, why am I now just getting into this show?? My first job ever (in high school) was for my town’s Recreation Department and I currently work for the government. I’m convinced Parks & Rec was written loosely based on my life. But I digress.

Trader Joe’s is seriously the best for wine…my apartment is constantly stocked with “three buck Chuck” and I feel ya on the trying to branch out. Pretty labels get me every time too haha. Perfect for West Wing/Scandal binges!
TJ’s is so tricky putting the wine right by the checkout line, gets me (almost) every time. i picked up a bottle recently because I liked that the label had a woody with a surfboard on it!
Looks like there is another wine for me to try out! BTW you always have amazing drinks on here! And this would be perfect for binging on Bones or Greys Anatomy! Both favorites of mine!
