Even with New Year’s two weeks under our belts, I still have a taste for champagne. Perhaps it’s because I associate champagne with special occasions and celebrations. However, there is much to celebrate even if it’s not a big holiday. You’re having a great week at work and your boss is singing your praises? You only hit the snooze button twice this morning? Your manicure still hasn’t chipped?
All these small victories are perfectly good causes for champagne. I found this delightful recipe and thought it’d be the perfect way to toast to an everyday special occasion:
Ingredients
1 cup, fresh raspberries
1 pint, vanilla ice cream
2 cups, chilled champagne (or maybe a little more)
Directions
Layer raspberries and vanilla ice cream in a tall glass.
Once full, pour champagne and garnish with a raspberry.
