For those of you are who are on a budget this summer (and I count myself among that number), you are constantly looking for a great deal. Well, I’ve found one and I’m feeling particularly generous this beautiful afternoon so I’m willing to share!
Chef Geoff’s has two locations: 3201 New Mexico Avenue NW and 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. But more importantly, they have all night happy hour deals on Monday AND Tuesday! I know, it’s almost too good to be true.
When it comes to my taste in food, I’m definitely an all-American foodie. I cannot resist a good burger & fries, I can’t help it. At Chef Geoff’s Happy Hour, you can get their out of this world Bistro Burger and fries for $5.95. And trust me, it’s not even in the same league as McDonald’s. Their burgers are on the larger side so I rarely finish the whole thing, hello two meals in one!
Chef Geoff’s Happy Hour is also known for their Supermugs (33.8 oz)of beer for $7.95 but I’m not a beer fan so I go for their “Sunny Sangria” at $4/glass. It’s perfect after a hot and humid D.C. day: fruity and sweet without being too sweet that it gives you a cavity right then.
I went to CG’s Happy Hour on Monday and got their Bistro burger w/ fries and a glass of sangria for $10. Plus the atmosphere is great and so quintessentially D.C. The Washington Bureau of NBC is right around the corner from the New Mexico location and was a favorite haunt of famous journalist and fellow Buffalonian Tim Russert.
Chef Geoff’s Happy Hour is the perfect place to unwind and prepare for the rest of the work week.
