Until I moved to DC, I never heard of The Container Store but I quickly fell in love with its concept. I love going into The Container Store and imagining all those beautiful boxes and bins in my closet, everything perfectly in its place and within reach. Even flipping through their catalogue is soothing with streamlined, clean appearances of closets and cabinets. Some do yoga, I do organization. Although my kitchen cabinets could use a little TLC right now in the spirit of full disclosure.
It’s easy to get swept up in the hangers and containers for the major home organization projects but let’s not forget about the handy gadgets they also offer. The Container Store sent me a container of gadgets to test out and I’m so excited to share them with you. Each gadget would make a great stocking stuffer or even a little something to boost your every day. Cedar & Lavender Blocks: Keep your clothes and linens smelling fresh with these blocks. They definitely are lasting longer than any fragrance spray and it makes me love opening my closet door for a whole new reason.
Gal Pal Deodorant Remover, similar: We’ve all been there: at work, in class, on a date, thinking we look great. Then, we get a glimpse in the mirror and see pesky deodorant streaks on your beautiful shirt. How did they get there??!! is right up there with other burning questions like how many licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop. Gal Pal is actually your new best friend to resolve this girl problem.
Klip It Sandwich Box: I bring my lunch to work pretty much every day and Klip It makes awesome meal containers, I never have to worry about my lunch spilling in my tote. That’s happened before and trust me, it wasn’t pretty.
Klip It Breakfast-to-Go: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I love how this container has two “stories” to keep your fruit separate from your cereal. Or vice versa. A lot of mornings I’m guilty of skipping breakfast but this makes it just too easy (and pretty) to pass up.
Erasable Food Storage Labels: Typically when I prepare meals, I make multiple servings to last through the week. I love how with these labels my fridge is no longer held hostage by containers covered in tin foil. Happy fridge = happy me.
Jar Key: For those of us who don’t have dads, husbands or boyfriends to help you out with those tough lids. There’s nothing more frustrating than not being able to open up a jar when all you want is a pickle. Been there, done that. Jar keys are the answer to my single girl prayers.
Luggage Scale: Confession time, I notoriously overpack. I’ve gotten okay at guessing my luggage’s weight but I still feel like I’m playing Russian Roulette when I check in my bags. Problem solved. This is a perfect gift for someone who’s a jetsetter or travels often for business!
Brocade Pencil Cup: I have lusted after The Container Store’s brocade desk collection for awhile now so I was positively tickled to place this dainty pencil cup to my workspace. A simple feminine touch to my 9-5 life.
