Arnold Palmers are a delicious summer drink, or for any season really! I was watching my idol Paula Deen and she made Arnold Palmer cupcakes. Naturally, I’ve been dying to try them and now that I’m all moved into the new apartment, I was set to bake.
I followed her recipe to a T and the cupcakes turned out golden brown and beautiful. However, the frosting was a tad thin so I added confectioner’s sugar to thicken it up and it worked like a charm. Going to a 4th of July party next weekend and everyone’s making a flag cake? Nothing says Americana like an Arnold Palmer or dessert!
