Sharing my top all-time favorite pieces I’ve scored from the Lilly sale over the years
Tomorrow is the Lilly Pulitzer Sunshine Sale! Formerly known as the After Party Sale, this is one of two times a year that Lilly items go on sale. I usually share my tips + tricks for successfully shopping the sale but this year, I decided to go in a different direction with this post + talk about my all-time favorite Lilly sale pieces.
These items are ones I’ve purchased during the After Party sale over the years + have stood the test of time, both in quality and in style. They’re items I reach for constantly in my wardrobe. I’ve been working to be more intentional in my shopping and not merely purchasing items just because they’re on sale. Instead, I try to only purchase pieces that will fill a need in my closet and in styles that will remain, well, in style forever.
Here are my all-time favorite Lilly sale pieces that match these criteria:
Florin Reversible Tank Top: This top is like getting two items for the price of one. It’s a reversible tank top with one solid side and one print side. I love taking mine on vacation since you can get two outfits out of it. It’s on the roomy side so I would recommend sizing down one size.
Margot Swing Dress: Okay, so this dress in the image is actually the Kristen swing dress. The Margot Swing Dress looks like this. The Margot Swing Dress is one of my favorite Lilly dresses ever, it’s casual enough to wear with sneakers for daytime and can be dressed up with espadrille wedges for an evening out. I love wearing it all summer, it’s breezy + perfect for summertime or vacation. Again, I would size down since it’s roomy. I wear a small in this style.
Lorena Breezy Palazzo Pant: These pants are insanely comfortable, I might need to get another pair! I would go with your regular size for the palazzo pant. I will say I did need to have these pants hemmed a few inches since I’m 5’3″. The Lorena Breezy Palazzo Pant are a must for vacation for me.
Elsa Silk Top: The Elsa is iconic for a reason, it’s very flattering + makes you look effortlessly pulled together. Just add white jeans + you’re ready to go! I wear my regular size in this.
Skipper Popover Dress: The dress version of the popular Skipper Popover, this dress is a great piece for wearing Lilly into the fall! It has a terry fabric on the inside that helps keep you warm. I love wearing mine on casual Fridays at work or paired with a puffer vest for a fall day outside with friends. Go with your normal size for this dress.
Jonas High-Waisted Skort: This skort is great for running around during the day + looking easily pulled-together. It will be the first of many Jonas skorts!
