If you’re familiar with my blog, it’s no secret I’m a big bookworm (if you’re new, welcome!) and I wear out my library card. Growing up with a mother who is a teacher, I was raised on reading. I remember for my First Communion several family members gave me giftcards for a local bookstore and I was ecstatic. It was my favorite gift. Clearly much has changed since I was in elementary school.
I am working my way through my summer book list and since I’m at home this week, I love stretching out in our backyard lounge chair and enjoying a good book. I’ve been using a free bookmark from the DC library and this will sound really nerdy but I love bookmarks! My favorite is a pink bookmark that says “Keep Calm & Have a Cupcake.”
On a recent sojourn into Etsy-land, I found this adorable bookmark. Even if you’re not a reader, these colors and print will make you want to crack open a book!
