After this weekend in DC, I’m pretty glad to see Monday on my calendar. There was a torrential storm on Friday that rendered us powerless, water-less and without air conditioning in triple digit weather. Trust me, it wasn’t pretty.
On a happier note, I’m busy organizing in preparation for my new apartment and if you follow me on Pinterest, I apologize for blowing up the site with my pins! In addition to the {My First Place} board, I have a Word doc that lists out the sections of the apartment with its corresponding furniture so I keep what furniture & decor pieces I already have organized. Now that I no longer have papers or tests, I have to be OCD about something. One of my sections is a bar area to display my glassware and serve as an entertainment section.
I think a monogram acrylic tray would be absolutely perfect for my bar cart and I adore the tray from {Design Darling}. Its simplicity makes it timeless and will match the color scheme of the room, whenever I make my mind up on one that is!
I can picture placing my decorative cocktail napkins and neon pink bendy straws in a small vase on this tray. It’d definitely be the signature piece of the entertainment section!

i have a glass tray from target that i’ve filled with my perfume bottles. it looks great in my bathroom (and would also be great for the bar, too!)
