Can you believe Christmas is almost here?! It didn’t really hit me until last night when I was packing to head home on Thursday (With my tried ‘n true duffel in tow). It’s going to be my last Christmas in Buffalo (More on that in a future post) so I’m packing all the layers and making a list and checking it twice to make sure I hit all my favorite wintery spots in my hometown. In all the chaos before Christmas, it’s easy to get caught up in a flurry of wrapping paper, cookies, ribbons and last-minute trips to the mall. I’ve pulled together this last minute holiday outfit with pieces you already have in your wardrobe!
I last styled this Old Navy ponte shift dress in a casual holiday outfit but today we’re going full-on Christmas glam with layered baubles, leopard heels and a red lip. No pulling punches here.
I’ve worn my multistrand pearls and crystal collar separately in outfit posts this holiday season but today they’re joining forces to give this black shift some extra holiday spirit! Layering your necklaces is a fun way to up the sparkle factor and give your jewelry more mileage. While my collar is clear, don’t shy away from brighter baubles! I think this collar would look amazing next to pearls. Grab your pearls and a statement necklace and you’re (almost) all set to create a last minute holiday outfit! Now let’s talk shoes…
I purchased these leopard pumps from Target a few years ago and get some serious wear out of them in the holiday season. They’re just the perfect party outfit accent and thanks to the block heel, easy to stand on for hours, no problem. My exact heels are no longer available but I’ve linked a nearly identical pair (and they’re currently on sale!). Early New Year’s Resolution: Wear the leopard heels in a non-holiday outfit. Stay tuned for updates.
Lipstick-wise this holiday season, I’ve been rotating between NARS Cruella and Revlon Cherry Blossom. You can pick up Revlon lipstick at Target or any drug store really for $5! If you’re in need of a last-minute red lip, Revlon Cherry Blossom is the way to go.
So if you’re busy wrapping gifts or still rushing to find the perfect gift (Been there) and you’re worried about pulling together a last minute holiday outfit, go check out your closet and view your accessories in a new light. I guarantee there’s a festive outfit in there just waiting to rock around the Christmas tree!
