Don’t you just want them all?!?
I mean, we’re supposed to eat the rainbow so why not wear the rainbow, too…right?
I first learned about Kendra Scott about a year ago and it’s safe to say I’ve been hooked ever since. A gorgeous jewelry company created + owned by a woman?! Seriously, what’s not to love?
Kendra Scott just opened a shop in Bethesda and you better run to their Color Bar ASAP! I visited the store last night for a blogger event and was incredibly impressed by the shop. The Color Bar is a unique experience that lets you customize a piece of jewelry (earrings, necklace, rings, bracelet) so that it’s truly you. After a good amount of deliberation and internal struggle, I created a gold Connely necklace with teal stones. In my 9-5 wardrobe, I usually wear a black or navy dress to keep my mornings simple and my workday comfortable. Because of a conservative dress code, I rely on colorful statement pieces like necklaces and earrings to finish off my outfits. Kendra Scott earrings have been a lifesaver to add color to my 9-5 looks!
I chose the Connely necklace with teal stones because it’s truly a statement necklace that would go with every work dress I own. I’m really not a morning person so it’s comforting to know I can throw together a professional look even after hitting the snooze button twice (okay, three times!).
If you’re planning a girl’s night out (or day in) and are looking for a fun, unique activity, I’d highly recommend visiting the Color Bar. The Kendra Scott employees are all very nice and gracious when modeling the seemingly endless jewelry options. For the necklaces + bracelets, you can mix ‘n match the stones!
So many good options, so little time.
Plus, you would think that creating the jewelry would take for-ev-er (to quote The Sandlot) but my necklace was ready in minutes right in front of my eyes! And no, it’s not magic.
It’s just Kendra Scott.

On an unrelated note, I’m taking a train up to NYC today, where are your favorite places to visit in the city?

I went to a color bar when I was home last in GA and was fascinated! I love that the stones are all unique so you can really get customized jewelry.
I love NYC, so jealous of your trip! Be sure to get some macarons at Laduree!!
