Last week, I flew to Phoenix, Arizona to spend quality family time soaking up the sunshine and eating as much Mexican cuisine as humanly possible. I thought about planning posts before my break but then Real Life got crazy, my to-do list grew and I just didn’t have time. Life goes on.
I love blogging and creating a community here on DC Girl in Pearls and I truly hope you do, too. But I’ll be honest, it was relaxing not worrying about editing and making sure all the bits ‘n pieces were in line before hitting “Schedule Post.” I spent the vacation focusing on my family and just enjoying the moment. Don’t get me wrong, I occasionally tweeted and did post on Instagram a handful of times. I’m a social media junkie, after all.
Now I’m back in the Beltway, my batteries recharged and I am downright over-the-moon giddy about the content I have scheduled and in the works for you. Specifically (spoiler alert!), DC Girl in Pearls’ THIRD birthday!!! Crazy, right??
Before we head back to regular programming including a GIVEAWAY later this week, I wanted to share a mantra I discovered on a trip to Sedona. 
I spotted the quote in a shop out of the corner of my eye and absolutely love it. What do you think of it? Is there a mantra that stuck with you?
