Happy Monday!! Saturday was the BEST day. It’s incredible what a little (or a lot) of sunshine can do to lift your spirits and make you feel energized. I had Saturday marked on my calendar all week with a giant yellow sun all week and was practically counting down until it would be in the 70s!! My Saturday definitely lived up to the hype.
I’m pretty sure I spent the entire day smiling. Though maybe that was partially the sun and partially the frozen peach sangria from Agua 301. There’s really nothing better than spending a gorgeous, sunny day outside with friends sipping on frozen drinks and snacking on chips + salsa. Chips + salsa are my great weakness in life. I walked all over my neighborhood on Saturday that day so it all balances out right? Now that spring has finally arrived in the district, I’m brushing off my list of favorite outdoor bars + brunches and add a few new spots to check out in the coming weeks. I’m ready to break out of my winter hibernation bubble and explore the city more!
I love this striped maritime dress for spring, it’s the perfect weight for that in-between not-chilly but not-really warm days that we’ve been having. Lately, I’ve been wearing this striped dress with a puffer vest for those cooler temps in the morning or layering my softest chambray shirt underneath to add some warmth. And I can’t wait to break my pink Jacks out to wear with this dress! But first a pedicure…
