In DC, happy hours are ubiquitous. After work or after class, DCists happily put their worries and (sometimes) iPhone and Blackberry aside for a few hours to enjoy half price libations and menu specials. You really cannot say no to a $4 glass of wine accompanied by a $5 burger!

The dress itself is a shift so I add a blazer to give a defined waistline. I typically wear heels in the office and I love Jessica Simpson’s heels collection. I snagged a pair of her nude heels for a great price at Filene’s Basement a year ago and they are my go to heel. Classic yet super comfortable and durable, this heel hits the trifecta!
