{Homemade Panini}

I bring my lunch every day and while I love various rice, pasta and sandwich recipes, lately I wanted a change of scenery. Brown bag does not have to equal boring.

Thus, I give you: homemade paninis:

Panini Ingredients

Pesto: $2.99

Ciabatta Rolls (4): $1.99

Tomato: $0.79

Mozzarella: $3.99

In total, my panini sandwich rings up at $3, not bad!

Directions:

Layer up the Ciabatta roll with pesto, tomato slices and mozzarella…or whichever ingredients you like!

I press the panini in my George Foreman until the mozzarella melts and voila! A delicious lunch that took less than 10 minutes to prepare:

    I loovee paninis! I turn everything into a panini- it’s a great way to redo leftovers. After Thanksgiving, I did turkey, brie, and apple paninis. I do goat cheese and leftover veggies like peppers or mushrooms a lot. And of course, mozzerella, tomato, and pesto is a classic for a reason. Good choice.
