I’ve always loved getting dressed up for the holidays. Velvet, plaid, sparkle, the whole nine yards. Holiday outfits are perhaps the one time in the year where you don’t follow the Chanel rule of “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take at least one thing off.” In fact, the inverse is true. The more glitz and glam, the better!
On Christmas Day, I’m all about the cozy pajama sets and robes (especially from my favorite Lake Pajamas) to go with a day of lounging, watching old movies, and enjoying hot chocolate with tiny peppermint marshmallows. Until then, I lean into the festive spirit of the season with a healthy dose of holiday glam!

The faux-fur cape-scarf is an easy look to recreate – you just need to pair this $19 faux-fur with your favorite holiday plaid. Dust off the classic blanket scarf (Anyone else still have theirs? I do!) or add this tartan poncho to your cart. You can layer the faux-fur over the plaid poncho for a similar vibe. Take it a step further and use fabric tape to keep the faux-fur secure and in place.

Faux Leather Leggings: My BP faux leather leggings in these photos are no longer available but I’ve loved my other leggings from Spanx (These ones are under $100!).
Chic Black Turtleneck: I love my black turtleneck from J.Crew Factory! I’m typically a size medium but I like to size up to a large for a looser fit. I wear it all winter long for work and weekends. I will say their ivory version is quite see-through so keep that in mind.
