Can you believe it’s almost the Fourth of July?! I’ll be staying in DC for the long weekend but my parents + Tommy are driving down from home to visit. We’re going to a Nats game (It’s become a favorite family tradition) but aside from that, I think we’re all going to have a quiet weekend just hanging out at the pool. Life lately has been crazy for my parents with packing up the house and as for me, life has been moving pretty fast for me. I’ll give you a happy update next week ; )
I haven’t really thought much about Fourth of July yet so I took a little trip through my archives for some patriotic outfit inspiration.

Speaking of shopping, I can’t wait for the long weekend sales to get started. And in my non-workwear wishlist, there’s this perfectly patriotic American flag envelope clutch!!! I also want this check halter dress – I’m heading to NOLA at the end of July for a wedding so I’ll need all the easy breezy dresses I can fit into a suitcase!
