Food Truck Friday: Eat Wonky

With its’ bright colors, the Eat Wonky food truck is very hard to miss.

Trust me, their food matches the overall zany branding & company feel. Their main menu items are their wonky dog and wonky fries. A wonky dog comes covered in gravy, squeaky cheese and french fries and their wonky fries are loaded with squeaky cheese and gravy. I’ve never tried either because I don’t like gravy on anything besides mashed potatoes and I’m also not a fan of cheese on hot dogs or fries.

However, I can honestly say that I’ve tried their whoopie pies (cookies with a cream-filled center) and they are absolutely delicious. I told you I have a terrible sweet tooth.

The Eat Wonky food truck has been listed as one of the best D.C. food trucks by The Washington Post‘s Going Out Guide and Washingtonian rated their whoopie pies as the best in D.C.

So even if you’re not a fan of gravy on hot dogs, you can still enjoy a good old-fashioned whoopie pie!
