Getting that extra hour over the weekend was a-mazing! I laid low this weekend because I desperately needed to catch up on my sleep + laundry. I woke up yesterday feeling refreshed + energized – this must be what getting a full night’s sleep is like!
I even felt good enough to take a Solidcore class and omg, I’m already insanely sore. When I was making dinner, I dropped the cap to the ground pepper + it hurt everywhere to pick it up. Not looking forward to struggling to get out of bed on Monday but I do feel proud of myself for surviving the class! How was your weekend?
Anyway, let’s get to chatting about the latest arrivals from J.Crew Factory for fall. J.Crew Factory really crushes it when it comes to fall and winter style. All the plaids, cozy sweaters, and cute shoes – get in my closet! Here are my faves:
Fair Isle Sweater: How much fair isle is too much fair isle? Asking for a friend who is me. I’d love to pair this turtleneck sweater with my faux leather leggings for the coziest brunch outfit ever.
Cabin Fever Sweatshirt: Normally, I’d say I have enough lounge wear. Though honestly I cannot believe I just said that. I might need to make an exception for this “Cabin Fever” sweatshirt, the plaid pattern in the letters is just the perfect touch.
Tartan Knot Headband: I’m debating if I can pull off the knot headband trend. Thinking I should try it out with this plaid pattern?
Ruffle Collar Plaid Shirt: I love love love my ruffle collar plaid shirt, it’s so easy to dress up or down. I love it tucked into jeans for the weekend and layered under a black sheath dress for a holiday work party outfit. Now J.Crew Factory has a flannel version!
Satin Jeweled D’orsay Flats: I love a great pair of party shoes + between the satin and jewels, these look like a must for holiday party season.
Wool A-Line Skirt: This a-line skirt is great for work and weekend, I’d love to pair it with my riding boots or my cap toe ballet flats.
Tie-Waist Shirtdress in Blackwatch Plaid: I think this shirtdress would be perfect for Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving – and you can’t go wrong with blackwatch plaid!
Plaid Cape-Scarf: This plaid cape-scarf would look so cute over a crisp white button down with jeans, another adorable Thanksgiving outfit.
Pearl Ribbed Beanie Hat: Perfect for chilly commutes in D.C.
Mary Jane Pointy-toe Flats: I could use a new pair of black flats + these pointy-toe Mary Janes have my name written all over them!
Houndstooth Schoolboy Blazer: J.Crew Factory’s schoolboy blazer is one of my must-haves, I own it in navy and camel. Now might need to add houndstooth to the collection.
Drapey V-neck Tank Top: Super versatile for holiday party season
Merino Wool Turtleneck: I have this merino wool turtleneck in black + wear it at least once a week during colder months. It’s so incredibly soft + cozy, I’ll probably get this turtleneck in camel + maroon. Seriously, this turtleneck made me change my entire opinion of turtlenecks. To clarify, I mean on myself.
Turtleneck Sweater-dress: Since I’ve now come around to wearing turtlenecks, the next logical step is this turtleneck sweater-dress, right?
Knit Pajamas: I have 2 states of dress – whatever I wore for the day and pajamas. As soon as I get home, I change immediately into PJs or loungewear. These knit pajamas look cozy enough to go into my shopping bag.
