When it comes to Christmas movies and holiday tunes, I’ve got a simple rule for myself – not until December 1. But here we are at December 4th and I am up to my eyeballs in Christmas magic!
To give you an idea of my holiday magic manic state, I’ve been planning a holiday extravaganza for the weekend with J since we’ll be apart for Christmas, my Trader Joe’s cedar balsam candle is lit as soon as I get walk through my apartment door (which has a wreath hung on it, of course!), and I’m taking full advantage of my building’s hot chocolate option in the lobby Keurig.
Throw in some PJs, my favorite cozy Minnetonka slippers, and you get the idea.
Disney+ has been enabling my holiday movie hibernation tendencies right now, and honestly, if you haven’t subscribed to Disney+ yet, get on that ASAP!! Besides all their great holiday movies, including some nostalgia-inducing DCOMs, Disney+ is a treasure trove of Disney classics and favorites. And their new content, like Encore! and The Imagineering Story must go on your watchlist. Though Encore! makes me sappy cry every time 😂
Whip up a batch of perfect Peanut Butter Blossoms, get into your PJs, pour yourself a glass of wine (Bonus points if it’s mulled), and let the holiday movie marathon begin!
