It’s Cherry Blossoms time in DC!! While runners raced the Cherry Blossom 10K, I enjoyed the cherry blossoms at a more (ahem) leisurely speed. I spent a sunshine-filled Sunday strolling around Eastern Market with a strawberry lemonade in one hand and my camera in the other. I briefly thought about venturing into the chaos of the National Mall but my neighborhood was so gorgeous with all the blossoms, I couldn’t tear myself away. So PLEASE bear with me as I go a little blossom-crazy for the next couple of weeks!
Have some sangria, it’ll help!! Scout’s honor.
Not a cherry blossom but I kinda have a thing for retro cars ; )

Your pictures are lovely, but those pink flowers are actually magnolias, and not cherry blossoms 😉
Thanks for the head’s up, Sarah. After this winter, I’m just thrilled to see flowers + not snow or ice! 🙂
I definitely feel the same way! DC’s winter was so rough this year…!
The blossoms are a sight for sore eyes after this winter. I’m happy to enjoy them until they are gone as well! 🙂
Keep sharing these photos. They are gorgeous. I live in Florida and have not had the pleasure of seeing these blooms in person. I love living vicariously through your lens!
