Ann Taylor Pink Blazer (Similar: A + B) // White Eyelet Shift – Last Styled Here (Similar) // Nine West Tatiana Heels // Old Navy Reversible Tote – Last Styled Here // Talbots Infinity Scarf (Similar: A + B)
From college to now, I’ve accumulated quite a lot of blazers in my closet. Mostly of the navy, black and gray varieties. When it comes to building a professional wardrobe in DC, it’s easy to fall into a muted color scheme. I’ll admit in the mornings when you haven’t planned an outfit and you just have to hit snooze (twice), reaching for a black sheath dress, black blazer and a statement necklace is really just too effortless. So I’ve been trying to take a step on the wild side and up my blazer game (Remember the chambray blazer? Love it!). I picked up this Ann Taylor pink blazer over the Fourth of July weekend at Potomac Mills and it’s been in heavy rotation ever since. It’s polished and professional and the vibrant pink is anything but stuffy.
For an added burst of color, I tied my Talbots infinity scarf around my go-to work tote handle. I couldn’t resist how the pink pineapple matches the pink blazer, it just pulls the whole outfit together.
This pink blazer is pretty much the epitome of “colorfully conservative” and I cannot get enough of it. I’m thinking of pairing it with wedges and white jeans + white shell for a girl’s night out. A power pink blazer that packs twice the punch, what’s not to love?
