Hosting for the Holidays

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…

Who are we kidding? My current true love is a bottle of festive bubbly. Specifically Secco cranberry prosecco from Trader Joe’s for a grand pricetag of $5. You’re going to want to stock up.

This month abounds with cookie parties (I haven’t been able to look at a snickerdoodle cookie since last year), so what do you think about hosting a holiday cocktail party?

Getting dressed up in festive cocktail attire, check.

Having fun creating seasonal drinks, check.

Spending time with your favorite people, double check.

Here’s a holiday cocktail party idea: Turn the party into a Christmas cocktail competition (gotta go for alliteration), several guests concoct a seasonal drink ahead of time and then people vote on their favorite? Hmm, might just have to follow my own advice for once and do this.

Can you tell I’ve been watching a lot of Food Network’s challenge shows?

Cause I’m guilty as charged.

Cheers!
