When I started to decorate my apartment, I first chose my theme of cottage chic and colors.

Pictures from my visit to {The Chautauqua Institute}. I even got to meet the photographer!
I chose a taupe loveseat & found this great pillow with the mint green coloring I wanted to offset the neutral. I love reading on the couch and the pillows and fuzzy blanket are wonderfully comfortable.
Now, on to the accessories of my living room. My fabulous mother created these incredible rake wine holders (and brought the champagne flutes!)…
She also generously let me repurpose her garden art as wall decor:

My mini-bar in the living room area is still a work in progress but I’ll keep you posted.
