{I’ll Have a Chai, Please}

Life as a post-grad is filled with job applications and budgets. One of the things I’ve cut down on has been Starbucks and my beloved chai lattes. However, thanks to Trader Joe’s, I have a way to get my chai fix without breaking the bank. I usually would purchase a venti iced chai and that would cost me $4.50 each time. Instead, I purchase Trader Joe’s Spicy Chai latte for a mere three dollars! From this jar, I can have at least 10 chai teas (either hot or cold). It also is helpful for your waistline because I use all water and just a splash of milk, unlike Starbucks where it’s mostly milk. Cut out the spending, cut out the calories. It’s a win-win!

This week, I have not been feeling myself: I woke up on Sunday to a sinus situation so my chai latte was perfect as I curled up on my couch to watch Hoda and Kathie Lee (a guilty pleasure of mine!) this morning. The best part? I didn’t have to leave my apartment!

How do you save money? I’d love to hear tips!

    Never buy anything that’s not on sale! And if you want it really badly (like I did the Jack Rogers cork sandals I just bought) always Google for coupons

    I love Trader Joe’s! We have one just around the corner from our new house and I’m always amazed by all the cool (affordable!) things they have. I’ll have to check out their chai latte! Thanks for sharing your great find.

    I saw the TJ Chai Tea while I was making my weekly laps around the store. I’ll have to get it next week. I’ve found the less I expose myself to ‘things’ the less I buy. Hope you are feeling better and the job search is going well.
